Show Sponsored by McGuire, Wood & Bissette Law Firm
The Western Front, Christmas, 1914. Out of the violence a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.” Thus begins an extraordinary time of camaraderie, music, and peace. A remarkable true story, told in the words and songs of the men who lived it.
“A beautiful musical retelling of a World War I ceasefire
with gifts of music, poetry, and melody.”
-New York Times
A note on ticket pricing for this show:
While NC Stage is a non-profit arts organization, we are also a business that pays actors, designers, directors, front of house teams, playwright performance rights, rent, insurance, and staff salaries, not to mention all the other things required to put on a play that you see – and don’t see – on stage. Our usual ticket pricing is determined by what it takes to support the people, stories, and spaces that define NC Stage.
Hurricane Helene has left our community struggling with different levels of recovery, grief, hope and determination. To make things as accessible to as many people as possible, we have made some changes to the ticket pricing for this show in the form of a sliding scale. If the lowest price ticket is still out of reach for you, please contact the box office. We want you here.
When you select tickets, you will have the opportunity to choose the level at which you can participate. Please consider what you feel works for you right now and make that selection. Audiences are the heart of the theatre and we look forward to sharing with you the remarkable history, music, and peace of All is Calm this holiday season.
