Seeking: Male choral singers ages 18-up. Seeking 4 tenors and 4 basses.
Show Description: A stirring musical based upon true events during WWI produced by NC Stage. Directed by Charlie Flynn-McIver with musical direction by Melodie Galloway.
Audition Location: First Congregational Church, 20 Oak Street, Asheville (across from First Baptist); Oct. 13th 6-9 PM
Rehearsal Dates: Chorus rehearsals: 10/19; 10/26, 10/28, 11/2, 11/3, 11/6, 11/9, 11/12, 11/16, 11/17, 11/18, 11/20, Run-Thru rehearsals: 11/28, 11/29, 11/30, 12/1, 12/2, 12/3, 12/4, 12/6
Weeknights 6-8 PM; Weekends morning or afternoon; 11/28 – 12/4 prepare for longer rehearsal times, especially Sat. 12/3 and Sun. 12/4. Rehearsal Locations – TBD.
Performance Dates: Dec. 7 – 23rd; Wed-Sat at 7:30 PM; Sat & Sun at 2 PM; Tues Dec. 20 at 7:30 PM; possible extension for Dec. 27-30. Performance Location: 15 Stage Lane, Neal G. Theatre.
Stipend: $200 for run of show.
Preparation: Bring one song to sing and be prepared for a vocal range check and a brief sight-singing selection. Music reading ability is preferred, but a strong ear and good sense of pitch will also be considered.
