OPEN CALL: Union male actors, age 20s-50s, for All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914. Non-union seen as time allows.
AUDITION DATE: Thursday, Nov. 3rd : 10 AM – 1 PM, 2 PM – 6 PM and will be held at Colourfield Studios at 54 Ravenscroft St., Asheville, NC 28801.
REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE DATES:
First rehearsal 11/21/16. Previews 12/7/16, opens 12/10/16, closes 12/23/16. Possible extension from 12/27 to 12/30/16.
CONTRACT: SPT Cat. 4; $352/week AEA, Non Union Stipend
BREAKDOWN: 3 actors of any ethnicity for ensemble piece. Actors play various roles, soldiers, politicians, in World War I. Must be very good storytellers and proficient with dialects. German, French, various dialects of the UK, English, Irish, Scottish, cockney, etc. Good musical sense of timing a must.
Actor 1- male, 20s to 50s
Actor 2- male, 30s to 50s
Actor 3- male, 40s to 50s
PREPARATION: Actors will be given sides from the show to prepare for auditions upon confirmation of appointment. Video submissions are welcomed.
