Intermediate Performance Class: Ages 12-16
Your student will work with an equity actor to learn and improve the tools of performance: character development, story-telling, vocal technique, comedic timing, etc. This exciting course takes the skills they have already learning in previous courses up to the next level! The students will complete the class by showcasing their work in front of family and friends in a professional theatre. Space is limited!
Dates: January 25 – April 25, 2016‡

Level: Intermediate, prior experience helpful.

Introduction to Acting: Adult Education
This class is a twelve week introduction to acting course. The course emphasizes individual monologue work through intention, movement, physical activity, etc. It also introduces various acting philosophies and techniques including Alexander Technique. The syllabus is designed to resemble a college introductory course and is perfect for the adult actor or actress who is just getting into the world of performance.

Shakespeare’s Language: Adult Education
This twelve week class is an introduction to the language and poetry of Shakespeare. It will focus on the use of the text, language, story-telling, interpretation, and the meaning of his work. This class is designed for individuals who want to dive deeper into performing the Bard’s work.
