Classical Theatre Course
This class will delve into the “how to’s” of classical texts: How to read the text, how to approach the role, how to portray characters using archetypes, etc. This applied script analysis course will help you learn the tools to take on material from the Greeks to Shakespeare to Moliere. Taught by Equity Actor Catori Swann.
Grades: 8th – 12th
Dates: Sept. 12th – Nov. 14th, 2016

Create – A – Play
Discover the building blocks of theatre through games, group work, and basic theatre techniques! You’ll learn how to use the body and voice to create a character and transport yourself into the play. The class concludes with an original play written by the students and performed for parents on the last day of class. Taught by Allison Wilson.
