We are holding auditions for Parallel Lives by Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy.

Friday 3/13/15 – 9:00am to noon, 1:00pm to 5:00pm – Initial Auditions
Monday 3/16/15 – 11am to 3pm – Callbacks
These are Equity Auditions, but we will also see non-union performers.

Performers should be familiar with the play and will be provided information on the sections to prepare. Copies of sides will be provided at the time of audition. Please bring a hard copy of your headshot and resume to the appointment.
Rehearsal and Performance Dates
Rehearsal and Production Dates are listed below. Rehearsals are 6 days per week with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2.
Rehearsals begin April 21st, 2015. Previews May 13th through 15th, 2015, opens May 16th, and closes June 7th, 2015. There is a possible extension to June 14th, 2015

Seeking:
Female actors to perform in Parallel Lives by Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy. This is a stage version of the popular Kathy and Mo Show. Applicants should possess strong comedic acting skills as well as the ability to transform character quickly. Both women will play men, women and children. Dialect work a plus. Although the piece is comprised of sketches they are not without substance, both satirical and dramatic. An emphasis on sincere performances that draw out the comedy and pathos is placed at a premium.
Actor 1 – Female, mid 20s to mid 50s, all ethnicities. Plays: Being One, Kris, Madeline, Holly, Hank, “Kathy”, and others
Actor 2 – Female, mid 20s to mid 50s, all ethnicities. Plays: Being Two, Jeff, Sylvia, Molly, Karen Sue, “Mo”, and others
